so after the disaster of trying to play the matrix online, i reformatted my drive and reinstalled windows. but i couldn't activate it because microsoft said the key had been used too many times (once?)

so victor called microsoft last night and said we had upgraded the computer and the microsoft guy gave him a number to type in and windows was activated again.

but today i start up my computer and get a message that i have 23 days left to activate!
and victor's computer won't start at all!

so we paid 300 dollars for this copy of windows and for what?

we are waiting for a linux cd in the mail. hopefully we are able to install it and dump windows forever! i can't wait...
