Escaped Caterpillar On Rampage Through City


COLUMBUS, OH-A ravenous caterpillar escaped from captivity today, wreaking havoc as it devoured everything in its sight and carved a half-centimeter path of destruction across the city, horrified sources reported.

Confined to a glass viewing chamber since late May, the savage creature reportedly broke free from its bedside enclosure before slithering out of an open window and charging wildly toward the city's unsuspecting commercial district.

"As founder of the Chilling Effects Clearinghouse, an online resource to help Internet users understand their rights, Seltzer regularly posts cease and desist letters received by Web sites including one recent letter pharmacy chain CVS sent to a Web site called IHeartCVS.com.

The letter claimed IHeartCVS had infringed on intellectual property rights by posting "links to in-store redeemable CVS coupons." The Web site was asked to "destroy any and all unauthorized reproductions of CVS' intellectual property."

"I'd argue that links to pages on CVS' site are not infringements of copyright," Seltzer said."

i agree with seltzer... but i removed those links anyway because i was afraid dreamhost would shut down my site if cvs asked them to. but i still bookmark those links :)
